Is a new GE dumping grounding coming to Goose Pond?

In recent headline news, it has been broadcast that GE is preparing to create 3 new dumping grounds locally in Berkshire County that it will use to dump excavated polychlorinated biphenyls, or PCB's, from the Housatonic River clean-up project. One location is in Lenox, near Woods Pond, another location in Housatonic, near Rising Pond and one of these locations happens to be off Forest Street behind the Forest Street Mill located near Goose Pond in Lee. Some opposition has arose and the public should be made aware of what may lie in thier neighborhood. Tyringham Resident Mary Pappenheimer has prepared the following petition and information regarding the potential future dumping grounds.
